This is a loving tribute to our mother, Sherry (Sharon) White. She left us way too soon and we miss her terribly. We know she has gone on to a better place, to be with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G, and her precious kitties. We love and miss you so much!

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Mother, Sherry (Sharon) White who was born in Maryland on July 29, 1945 and passed away on January 13, 2010. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Sharon White passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 13, 2010. She was surrounded by her loving daughters and granddaughters.

In Loving Memory

If tears could build a stairway

and memories build a lane

I'd walk right up to heaven

and bring you home again

No farewell words were spoken

no time to say goodbye

You were gone before I knew it

and only God knows why

My heart still aches with sadness

and secret tears still flow

But now I know you want me

to mourn for you no more

To remember all the happy times

Life still has much in store

Since you'll never be forgotten

I pledge to you today

A hallowed place within my heart

Is where you'll always stay

~ Tracy

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today would've been your 66th birthday!
Kim is buying you your favorite yellow roses.
And I'm getting you a chocolate cake, your favorite!
We miss you terribly! We love you bunches!

Happy Mother's Day Mom!  Love, Kim

Merry Christmas Mom!

Wherever you are, we hope you have a most joyous Christmas.

We're missing you terribly and wishin' you were here.

And I can't believe on Christmas Day,

It will be a year since I last saw you face to face.

Since I last got to hug you, and spend time with you.

It just doesn't feel quite the same this year.

But, I know in spirit and in our hearts,

you are here.

I love you and miss you with all my heart.

Merry Christmas Mom!

With all my love,

Tracy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

We were all thinking of you and missing you dearly on your birthday: Thursday, July 29th.

Kim bought you yellow roses and placed them in your room.

The girls, Lawrence and I had spent the day at the beach. I hope you heard our "Happy Birthdays".

Thank You

Sherry's family would like to give a heartfelt "Thank you" to everyone who attended her memorial service yesterday, Wednesday, 1-20-10. It really meant a lot to us and I know it would have to her.
We loved hearing the stories and what her friends/co-workers had to say about her. It was so nice to see so many people there to honor and celebrate her life.

We'd also like to give a special "Thank you" to our friends and family for their support and being there for us.

We welcome everyone who wishes to come, to please join us on this day to celebrate Sherry's life.

RIP Kiki

I'm very sad to report that Sherry's oldest cat, Kiki, had to be put down today, January 25, 2010. This is especially devastating to Kim. She was there with him in his last moments of life.

A few days ago Kiki stopped eating and would just lay in our mother's closet. Kim took him to the vet's this morning and found out he was in kidney failure.
We also believe he just wanted to go Home to be with Mom.

He lived a very good, long life, over 17 years.

In lieu of flowers we'd like to request a donation be made to one of her favorite charities.

Her wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes put in a cereal box, yes a cereal box, as she didn't want any expense spent or much fuss made. She said this of course with humor, but I do believe she'd be thrilled if we did. (We aren't though.)

Her wish was to have her ashes scattered in one of her favorite places which she made sure her daughters knew, and that's what will happen in the months to come.

We are trying our best to contact everyone but are having a hard time finding emails or phone numbers.

If you could please help pass on the news, we'd greatly appreciate it.

Please feel free to direct anyone to this site.

If anyone would like to or needs to contact one of her daughters, please let us know that too.

Please feel free to post your own pictures and share your stories of our beloved mother.
