Mom's Last Gift To Us
On the night Mom passed, Kim told Carri and I that Mom had bought something for us, but never got the chance to give it to us. Kim wanted us to have them right away, like the next day. And she explained what it was.

First let me give you a little bit of background. My mother was a hand washing fanatic! Not only for herself, but for any family around her. If you went out to eat with her, which she loved doing, she'd ask the kids "Did you wash your hands?" And if they hadn't or didn't seem too sure of when the last time was, she'd say "Lets go wash em in the bathroom."

Also, if you were preparing her any food or drink, she'd ask "Did you wash your hands before touching this?"
She was also the one who taught me to grab a piece of paper towel before leaving any public restroom to grab the door handle with, so smart! Don't know why I never thought of just how gross those door handles might be. Ugh! And if the store or restaurant didn't provide a garbage can near the door, she'd just throw the paper towel on the floor. That'd always make me laugh, cuz what else could she have done? Taken it back to the table? Haha

Anyway, so Kim described to Carri and I that she bought a matching set for each of us of these battery operated hands free liquid hand soap dispensers. We all thought the same thing, how funny, Mom's last gift to us was something to help keep our hands clean! We laughed.

I went home and put mine up right away. Carri later told me she did the same thing.

I'll treasure this gift for many reasons. But it's also a pretty neat thing! I just love it!

Thank you Mom!
