Her Beloved Cats

Sherry had a big heart for all cats. She rescued several over the years and helped save many.

She made sure her kitties got all the care and extra medical care that quite a few needed.

She spared no expense, for they were like her children.

She lost many over the years and grieved their deaths deeply.

I hope she is now with them all again. I hope they greeted her with all the love she gave them here on earth.

RIP Missy, Sammy, Oscar and Kiki

Rest In Peace Buffy April 22, 2010

image It's with great sadness that I have to post that today Kim had to have Buffy, my Mom's diabetic cat, put down. My mom and Kim went above and beyond caring for Buffy. Twice a day they had to give her insulin shots. Buffy hadn't been doing too well the past few days, and was very lethargic and went into a diabetic coma.

I feel so bad for Kim having to deal with this by herself. She's an incredibly strong woman and I'm very thankful for her. Mom would be so proud of her.

We believe he is Home again with our Mom on the Other Side.

Her Kitties That Miss Her Greatly January 16, 2010

image Sherry is also survived by not only her human children, but her feline children: Kiki, Bobbie, Buffy, Mr. B and Baby. She also had a dog named Nilla.

In recent years she also suffered a great loss when 3 of her kitties passed on: Missy,  Sammy and Oscar.

All of her cats were very special to her and they gave her so much joy and happiness. She spared no expense to make sure they got everything she could possibly provide for them. Several of her cats had major medical problems. One she was having to give insulin shots to, with the help of her daughter, Kim.

All of her cats she rescued. Her heart was so big she had a very hard time saying "No" when a cat needed a home. And when she did have to say no, she did what she could to make sure they got the medical attention needed, like with the poor cat that got stuck under my Jeep (you can read that story in the Memories section).

She also made several donations to CAT and The ASPCA among other charities.
